Avalanche Creative fully embrace new media
At Avalanche Creative our background has mainly always been ‘design for print.’
Over the last 2 years we have tried to keep up with the constantly moving trends and keep at forefront of technology. We knew that we would need to enter into new areas if we wanted to survive in our marketplace. So we took the decision to embrace new media and run with it. After many hours of playing around, getting it wrong and getting very frustrated, we decided to get serious and do things properly. So we went and bought ‘websites for dummies’ and the rest is history.
But seriously, we are now very pleased to be at full capacity to offer our clients and any future business a range of websites from basic HTML sites right the way through to e-commerce and Content Managed Systems using user friendly databases where the administrator has the ability to update the system at pretty much a touch of a button… or a click of a mouse! This is all pretty new for us but now we feel confident that we can offer technology along with fantastic design which does not always go hand in hand when it come to database driven sites as the design often suffers. As recent case studies show, we have just produced two new sites that we are really proud of which include fantastic back end performance. We have had great feedback from our clients on how user friendly the sites are for updating and editing which is great for us not having to answer calls asking how to update the system. We hope to move further into this area in the future and offer even better performance in this particular area using the latest technology.
