Today we took some time out to visit the Spring Fair at the Birmingham NEC. The show is fantastic and brings together large brands and buyers under one roof. (or many roofs in the NEC’s case) We decided to visit the show to simply have a nosey around, get some inspiration and hand out a few brochures and cards in order to pick up potential leads. We spoke to some really interesting people and saw a great deal of talent within the greetings and stationery section. One of which is Paper Salad. We have done a small amount of work for Paper Salad as they work in the same building as us. Karen and Claire are very talented and their business has gone from strength to strength since they set up 2000. Karen and Claire sell their cards and giftwrap all over the world and there seems to be no stopping them at all. I wish them all best for the rest of the show this week. Take a look at www.papersalad.co.uk for more information.
After a few hours of trekking round it was great to bump into a complete creative Gem. We met a lady called Jacky Al-Samarraie and her sister from ‘The Art Rooms’. I had found the website on the Spring Fair website earlier in the week and was inspired by her work. After meeting Jacky I was more impressed that she did all the designs herself as she has such an extensive and inspirational range. Log onto www.theartrooms.co.uk for more information on her work. I am certainly going to be ordering some cards and a framed print that I spotted at the exhibition.

We finally have permission to announce our latest project for Nelstrops Four Millers.
The branding project, which has been a thorough process with many stages, has enjoyed the full support from all at Nelstrops, The logo has now been approved and is going to be rolled out extensively, nationwide, in the near future.
We are very excited to be working with Nelstrops. As a 6th generation flour miller they are famous for their reputation of family, quality and history across the country. The company was founded in 1820 and produces high quality milled flour to this day. Nelstrops sell to many large companies around the country, you will no doubt have Nelstrops flour in the bread you have at home, and many other products that use flour.
We are very pleased to have been involved in this historic re-brand and feel confident it will stand the test of time for years to come. We have worked on many projects with Nelstrops including packaging and promotional material and hope to carry on with the same momentum.
Future projects that are on the horizon include premium flour bag re design, and a new nelstrop website. We will keep you posted on future updates.
For more information or to see previous Nelstrops projects click.
We are very pleased to announce the launch of a new website that we have recently produced. Its been a long drawn out process on both parties due to the content collation and back office on the website itself.

Well the two subjects were on my mind recently, fused together in a creative explosion, and the result was our latest website http://www.coverpeople.co.uk - an experienced, professional recruitment service, specialising in educational teaching cover for schools, bringing the right candidates together with the right schools.
The design for this site needed to reflect the core values of Coverpeople. It needed to be accessible and friendly while also being efficient and professional. Use of photography enhanced the personal touch schools and teachers receive when dealing with Coverpeople.
An extensive “behind the scenes” back end was built for the site which allows not only ease of use for schools and teachers using the site but also for the administration of all the information needed for each post or applicant. Coverpeople are predominantly based in the Greater Manchester area, but with a site like this, it would be easy to branch out into different areas whilst keeping the information and presentation simple
After a little tweeking and a few discussions with the client we were proud to launch the site and it has already been busy with interested users, eager to try out the new facilities.
If your connected to a primary or secondary school or are looking for any type of teaching work, temporary or permanent then this site might be a really useful one to bookmark. Or just go on anyway and let us know what you think, tell us what you like about the contemporary design.
As an established Graphic Design Agency in the Manchester area we do enjoy working on a range of different projects from national to international clients, but there is always something special about working for a client in which your design will have a direct impact on people in your area.

We would also like to say thank you to all at Coverpeople.
